Is it picture perfect technique, shot making capability, immense distance, the ability to shoot low scores, all of the above? Sounds like I'm talking about a top tour player but even they have things in their swing they might not like and work on to change. The fact of the matter is, building a great swing can take a long time and many players work on their swings their entire careers. That's one of the great things about golf, it's a constant pursuit of achieving your goal.
In knowing this, I've shaped my instruction to help golfers do just that. Enable them to build on and work on their swings as much as they like without the fear of ruining what they have. Pros can be very systematic in their practice and work on the same motions over and over, but they also have the confidence to adjust and change things as needed to achieve what they want.
I help golfers get to that level by building a base for them to rely on. Basically taking how they are able to move and building a repetitive motion they can use to swing the club with focus on fundamentals in the swing, range of motion in the body, power they can generate, and how much the player wants to practice. From this base the player can add to and work on their swings to make it what they want or keep it as it is. As the player gets better we are able to add elements to their games to help achieve the next level. And all this is possible because of the base we created in the beginning that is always part of their game.
